One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to advertise ‘Timeline Cleansers’ to defeat the doom-scroll and promote digital wellbeing this #StopCyberbullyingDay with @CybersmileHQ
Friday 20th June 2025 is Stop Cyberbullying Day, where everybody can get involved and make a difference both on and off-line. We are asking everybody who cares about cyberbullying, online hate campaigns and the future of the internet to join our growing movement for action and to help us create a kinder, more tolerant internet free from abuse. This year, our focus is on digital wellbeing so we’re calling on the OMBLES to help address the balance between the doom-scroll and promoting positive content that we can engage with online.
The algorithms engage us based on what we spend our time reading and interacting with. Unfortunately, if something makes us feel down, angry or upset, we tend to spend time looking at it but the algorithm cannot make the distinction of why we have been looking at something like that in comparison when we spend time looking and sharing content we love like our hobbies, interests, art, pets, comedy and more…
That’s why we’re calling on the OMBLES to do what they do best, and share their ideas to make a difference and get people talking about #STOPCYBERBULLYINGDAY in a way that reminds people to share positive, fun content online and help people to express themselves fully without judgement or negativity.
OMBLE Ross Brodie, created a brilliant idea for ‘Timeline Cleansers’ a little while ago…so today, we have turned that into a real product and we want YOU to advertise it.
Imagine them on the shelves in the supermarkets and how they could be used to clean up timelines and improve our lives. Could we do a Spring Clean of our socials to curate our feeds better? Removing any negativity and promoting a fresh way of thinking where we scroll past the negativity of the algorithm and engage more with the things we enjoy…which, in-turn, will feed us even more of that positive content that we enjoy.
Thus, making us happier overall.
Scribbles, notes, designs, sketches etc welcome.
Let's get people thinking about social media in a refreshing way.

CALLING ALL OMBLES!!
Join us in creating the Biggest Hour for Earth tomorrow on 25th March - switch off your lights and spend 60 minutes doing something positive for our planet!
Following the ambitious global agreement set out at the 15th United Nations Conference on Biodiversity (COP15) to protect and restore nature by 2030, we knew we had to step things up. So Earth Hour breathed new life into their brand, work, message, and mission - creating the Biggest Hour for Earth.
The aim is that anyone, anywhere can do anything positive for Earth during Earth Hour. No action is too big or too small! We want to make Earth Hour the Biggest Hour for Earth, so we’re asking the OMBLES create impactful posters to encourage participation and action for Earth Hour.

About the Biggest Hour for Earth
Since our beginnings in 2007, Earth Hour has been known for the “lights off” moment, with individuals from around the globe switching off their lights to show symbolic support for the planet and to raise awareness of the environmental issues affecting it.
More than 15 years later, we are now at a tipping point with our climate and nature crises, putting at risk the fate of our one home and all our futures. We are on course to breach by 2030 the 1.5°C global temperature increase limit set by the Paris Climate Agreement, and nature - the source of our very livelihoods and one of our biggest allies against the climate crisis - is also under severe threat, facing alarming and unprecedented rates of loss globally.
The next 7 years are therefore crucial to all our futures - we have to stay under the 1.5°C climate threshold to avoid irreversible damage to our planet, and we need to reverse nature loss by 2030, ending the decade with more nature and biodiversity than we started, not less. To make this happen, individuals, communities, businesses, and governments must all urgently step up their efforts to protect and restore our one home.
With this 2030 goal in mind, we too must step things up. So this year, we’re breathing new life into Earth Hour - our brand, our work, our message, and our mission - creating the Biggest Hour for Earth. How? By calling on our supporters across the globe to switch off their lights and give an hour for Earth, spending 60 minutes doing something - anything - positive for our planet.
With our presence in over 190 countries and territories, we can use the power of the people to turn a single Earth Hour into thousands and millions of hours of action and awareness, creating a domino effect of impact that continues well beyond the 60 minutes. Amidst our increasingly divided and polarized societies, the Biggest Hour for Earth becomes a precious moment of unity, reminding the world that our one shared home needs our help and that we all can - and must - play a part in protecting it.
Can an Hour change the world?
On 25th March 2023 at 8.30pm, as landmarks and homes across the world switch off their lights, we are asking you to spend 60 minutes doing something - anything - positive for our planet.
Just 60 minutes? Yes, just one hour. It may not seem like much, but the magic happens when you, and those like you in Asia and Africa, North and South America, Oceania and Europe - supporters in over 190 countries and territories - all give an hour for our one home, creating the Biggest Hour for Earth.
By doing so, this Hour can shine an unmissable global spotlight on nature loss and climate change, and the need to work together to secure a brighter future for people and the planet.
It could compel millions to act, and make millions more take notice.
It could unite cities, countries, continents, showing what we all have in common, and what we stand to lose.
It could remind us that time is precious - but that we are powerful - inspiring us to make all other hours count.
Could an Hour change the world? It’s a start, and it’s up to us.

History of the Hour
Started in 2007 by WWF and partners as a symbolic lights-out event in Sydney to raise awareness of climate change, Earth Hour is now one of the world's largest grassroots movements for the environment. Held every year on the last Saturday of March, Earth Hour engages supporters in more than 190 countries and territories, all taking action to ensure a brighter future for people and the planet.
Earth Hour has also gone far beyond the symbolic action of switching off - it has become a catalyst for positive environmental impact, driving major legislative changes by harnessing the power of the people and collective action.
Earth Hour is open-source and we welcome everyone, anyone, to take part and help amplify our mission and impact.
Our mission: Then and Now
In 2007, we encouraged people around the world to switch off their lights to call attention to climate change. More than a decade later, the climate crisis remains, made worse by another urgent threat: the rapid loss of biodiversity and nature.
Natural systems are vital for all our futures – and yet, the rate of global loss of nature during the past 50 years is unprecedented in human history. Nature not only provides us food, water, clean air, and other services worth over US$125 trillion a year – it is also one of our strongest allies against the climate crisis.
Today, Earth Hour aims to increase awareness and spark global conversations on protecting nature, tackling the climate crisis, and working together to shape a brighter future for us all.

One Minute Brief of the Day:
Create posters to advertise #WhyTheWorldNeedsB2B with @TheDrum & @SteinIAS #B2BWORLDFEST
But what does B2B mean?
Business-to-business (B2B) is a transaction or business conducted between one business and another. As a consumer, you might by a car, but the business that makes that car buys the components from other businesses – that’s B2B. You might buy a drink in a recycled plastic bottle, but the company that makes the drink buys recycled plastic to make its bottles from a recycled plastics business.
People who make computers or phones buy computer chips from chip makers. People who cook chips in restaurants buy chip fryers from industrial chip fryer makers. People who make those big chip fryers buy their chip cooking timers from people who make heat resistant timers. They buy their temperature gauges from people who make temperature gauges. Those people also make air pollution monitors which they sell to people who make recycled plastic bottles. B2B really does make the business world go round and round. And actually the world… Building a bridge? A windfarm? A school? A hospital? You’ll be buying in the B2B supply chain. B2B transactions keep businesses and society… in business.
What we’re looking for:
We want you to come up with quick-fire poster ideas, sketches and designs to advertise #WhyTheWorldNeedsB2B. Think big businesses or small. Think about how businesses need to adapt. Think about how society needs to evolve. Think about how flower shops, coffee shops and hairdressers are changing their businesses. The possibilities for why the world needs B2B are endless.
Tweet your entries to @OneMinuteBriefs, @SteinIAS and @TheDrum with the hashtags #WhyTheWorldNeedsB2B & #B2BWORLDFEST
Make sure your Twitter handle is in the corner of your entry!
Prizes:
4 x £100/$100 cash prizes for the Top 4 entries!!!
Winning entries to also be featured on The Drum!!!
About #B2BWORLDFEST
THINK ANEW AT B2B WORLD FEST
Some say that after the last two years, we need a re-set. A re-start. A re-charge. But not B2B’ers. Tested by the pandemic, B2B marketers are at the top of their game. They’re looking forward, not back. At strategy. Creativity. Culture. Digitization. Most of all, growth. So, we won’t be re-thinking or renewing at B2B World Fest. We’ll be thinking anew. Because that’s what B2B’ers do.

One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to encourage less online hate & more love, unity & acceptance on #STOPCYBERBULLYINGDAY with @CybersmileHQ
We're delighted to once again be official partners with Cybersmile on Stop Cyberbullying Day alongside the likes of Twitter, Instagram & Facebook. This year’s theme is all about unity and acceptance and we’re hopeful that all of the OMBLES will get involved and spread positivity across social media at a time it is more divisive and volatile than ever.
“Today’s brief is a really important one for myself personally and on behalf of the One Minute Briefs community. Having been on the receiving end of online bullying in the past, we know that negativity and nastiness online can have a serious impact on our mental health. Whether it’s directly or indirectly aimed at you or at others, the negativity and hate online is creating an incredibly hostile place that is hard to enjoy these days. I am actively avoiding using Twitter myself and trying to stick to the positivity bubble that is One Minute Briefs. I’ve seen people hounded off Twitter because of their opinions and they’ve been bullied to the point where they feel the need to escape. I know this feeling. It’s an overwhelming feeling that is very real and can push you into serious depression. Although, they have since said that their mental health is much better as a result. But what if you rely on being on social media for your job or business like we do? How do you get away from it without the doom-scrolling? It’s almost impossible. Social media has never been so divisive. The feeds have become full of hate. People actively looking to cause harm to anyone who is different or has an opposing opinion to them. Covid times have exaggerated this divide too. That’s why it’s important for the OMBLES to show that social media can be a place for good. A place we can all help each other build confidence, careers, contacts and turn social media into a fun, creative place like it used to be. ”
We're calling on the OMBLES to do what they do best, and share their ideas to make a difference and get people talking about #STOPCYBERBULLYINGDAY in a positive way that promotes less online hate and more love, unity & acceptance.
Scribbles, notes, designs, sketches etc welcome. Let's get some positivity out there!
PRIZE:
The winning idea will receive a £100 cash prize.

We’re excited to launch another exciting brief as part of our year-long partnership with Clear Channel. With a great prize to be won, we cannot wait to see all of the creativity on display today!!! You also have the potential opportunity to have your idea featured on billboards across the UK.
One Minute Brief of the Day:
Get your motors runnin’!
Create posters to help educate consumers on why they should switch to an electric vehicle.
Remember to tweet your entries to @OneMinuteBriefs and @ClearChannelUK with the hashtag #ElectricVehicles
Please include your Twitter handle in the corner of your poster so we know who you are and feel free to tag in any people/brands that are part of your entries.
Prizes:
- £200 cash prize for today’s winning idea
+ The chance to have your idea featured by Clear Channel on digital OOH billboards across the UK.
Context:
Ambitious government plans will see the end of petrol and diesel vehicle sales by 2030, however meeting this deadline will be challenging for the car industry.
We want to show how Out of Home can help car manufacturers position themselves as leaders in the electric race, showcasing their latest model while aligning with the wider environmental conversation.
COVID-19 has accelerated several changes throughout our cities, from increased pedestrianisation to new and safer cycle lanes. We are also seeing a switch in public attitudes to electric vehicles. Following the environmental improvements in cities as a result of the national lockdown, many people do not want to go back.
Challenge:
However, there is still a lack of education in the market and consumers often don’t have enough information to make the switch to electric. In fact, 43% of consumers stated they don’t know enough to consider the purchase, highlighting a need for greater consumer education.
A recent survey from Ford highlighted three main areas of concern:
37% of consumers cited Range Anxiety as the main barrier to switching to electric
53% say affordability is their main barrier to entry
51% are concerned that the charging infrastructure is not robust enough
Ford’s Managing Director Andy Barrat believes that:

Winning Criteria:
We’re looking for fun, impactful creatives that help allay the negative pre-conceptions around Electric Vehicle ownership, encouraging consumers to make the switch.

About mahabis:
we’re mahabis. footwear for time well spent
the thing that gets us out of bed in the morning? our mission to help the world spend its time well.
it’s a big mission, but it’s one we believe in.
because we believe that time well spent leads to a life well lived.
our story
our founders noticed that people were only allowing themselves time for enjoyment after their to-do lists were completed.
so they set out to create a product that helped people realise that doing very little can also be time well spent.
why footwear?
they’re the things that carry us through life.
mahabis took the world’s most comfortable shoe – the slipper – and ripped up the rulebook to create something functional. something beautiful. something that enhances every minute of whatever you're doing.
designed for comfort
life’s complex. our designs aren’t.
we like to keep things minimal, so you can get on with enjoying your time without distractions.
our london-based design team have created some pretty special features you won’t find on your regular run-of-the-mill slippers.
like our neoprene heel cradle which gently holds your foot in place as you walk. especially on stairs, slippers’ nemesis.
and our hybrid soles, which make it simple for you to pop out whenever you like, without the admin of changing your shoes. because we’ve all got better things to do.
we do things properly
all of our major suppliers are sedex audited and in compliance with the ethical trade initiative. this means the people making mahabis are treated well, paid a fair wage, and provided with a safe working environment.
we put mahabis through their paces.
we work with satra, a leading independent research and testing footwear organisation, to ensure our footwear meets the highest durability, abrasion and sizing standards.
part of this process is putting mahabis through their paces. over a million in fact. and they more than stand up to the task.
One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to advertise your #DreamJob with @Become_UK
Each year, we run a competition with Become, in which we challenge the OMBLES to respond to our brief with fresh, fun and meaningful creativity. At a difficult time, it’s never been more important to remain positive and dream big!!
Today’s OMB is about exactly that. And, there’s a great prize to be won too!
To enter our competition, simply create a poster that fits the brief, then tweet your entry mentioning @OneMinuteBriefs, @Become_UK with the hashtag #DreamJob

About:
For our 2021 campaign, we are very excited to announce that our brief is…
*cue dramatic drum roll*
“Create posters to advertise your #DreamJob WITH @Become_UK”
With this brief, we want you to share positive/inspirational imagery and headlines.
Think about:
What did you dream of being when you were 5 years old?
What would you dream of doing if you were in a totally different industry?
What would your dream job be in your industry? Perhaps this is your chance to let your dream employers know!!
What would be your dream scenario? Does the job even exist? If not…make one up!!
Dream BIG!! The more fun and creative the better!!
In today’s creative industries, it’s crucial for you to work for clients and brands that you’re passionate about, as this will let your skills shine more brightly than ever. Too many people are stuck in a job that doesn’t match up to their values; we can often end up settling into roles that fail to stimulate us, or perhaps don’t suit our preferred way of working.
We want to change that and give our candidates the chance to find their #DreamJob
Good luck!

The sun's rays can be strong enough to burn in the UK from around April to September.
A small amount of UV radiation is essential in the production of vitamin D, however too much exposure to the sun can have serious effects on your skin and eyes. It is important not to be caught out by the sun so use our forecast to plan your day, keep covered and wear a hat and sunglasses, spend time in the shade and use a high factor sun cream with good UVA protection to protect yourself.
Up to 80% of the sun's UV rays penetrate light clouds so even if it's cloudy it's important to protect yourself.
Get UV forecasts for UK and worldwide locations on the Met Office weather app. The UV forecast shows the UV index for the next 7 days and an hourly forecast for the next 2 days.
For iPhone the app is available from the App store.
For Android the app is available from the Google Play store

One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to help educate consumers on why they should switch to an electric vehicle.
We’re excited to launch another brilliant brief with our partners Clear Channel. With a great prize to be won, we cannot wait to see all of the creativity on display today!!! You also have the opportunity to have your idea featured on billboards across the UK next week as the nation begins to re-introduce the public back to the #GreatOutdoors.
One Minute Brief of the Day:
Get your motors runnin’! Create posters to help educate consumers on why they should switch to an electric vehicle.
“While the move to electrification is gathering pace, there’s no mistaking that this is a huge task ahead of us that will require fundamental efforts to ensure consumers are taken on the journey, and the first step is understanding what their options are”.
Winning Criteria:
We’re looking for fun, impactful creatives that help allay the negative pre-conceptions around Electric Vehicle ownership, encouraging consumers to make the switch.
One Minute Brief of the Day:
Create posters to help @ClearChannelUK welcome people back to the #GreatOutdoors & you could have your idea shared on billboards around the UK when restrictions are eased next week on March 29th.
We’d like to see simple, impactful and positive ideas that welcome the public back, make them smile and remind them that things are getting better as the days get warmer and we can all get out more!!
Context:
Social contact
The evidence shows that it is safer for people to meet outdoors rather than indoors. And this is why from 29 March, when most schools start to break up for the Easter holidays, outdoor gatherings (including in private gardens) of either 6 people (the Rule of 6) or 2 households will also be allowed, making it easier for friends and families to meet outside.
Business and activities
Outdoor sports facilities such as tennis and basketball courts, and open-air swimming pools, will also be allowed to reopen, and people will be able to take part in formally organised outdoor sports.
Travel
The ‘stay at home’ rule will end on 29 March but some restrictions will remain in place.
Remember to tweet your entries to @OneMinuteBriefs and @ClearChannelUK with the hashtag #GreatOutdoors
Please include your Twitter handle in the corner of your poster so we know who you are and feel free to tag in any people/brands that are part of your entries.

One Minute Brief of the Day: Create posters to encourage the public to #ShareTheLove in support of healthcare workers ahead of Valentine's Day with @TheHWF
Having previously created NHS inspired Valentine’s cards, today we are looking to spread even more love and positivity ahead of Valentine’s Day this weekend and supporting the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation with our 3rd brief together.
Hope all of the OMBLES will get involved today and, collectively, we can help promote something great and show our healthcare workers some love!
Tweet your submissions to @OneMinuteBriefs, @thehwf, @roshanaMN, @jesswade, @AskJeevesWij, @DrDomPimenta, @NHSMillion and @LoveYourNHS with the hashtag #ShareTheLove
If you can… please include the link gofundme.com/f/nhs-valentines-day in your tweets!
PRIZE:
We cannot offer a prize, but we can offer you the warm fuzzy feeling of contributing to a very good cause and making a real difference to those trying to save lives!! We will also be sharing shortlisted entries from the HWF feeds on the day!!
BRIEF:
Today we are calling on the OMBLES to help support the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation’s new initiative ahead of the ‘day of love’ to support healthcare workers. We’re hoping to communicate some of the great things the HWF is doing below but with a Valentine’s style twist!!
The Valentine’s Day appeal will help the charity provide exhausted all frontline staff with vital services such as PPE equipment, professional counselling and childcare grants.
The charity is calling on the public to donate their unspent Valentine’s Day funds to help support those working to keep the nation alive.
With Valentine’s Day incredibly difficult this year as the nation remains under a third lockdown, the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation (HWF) is calling on the romantics of the UK to ‘show their love’ for someone else this year and donate what they would otherwise have spent going out to help exhausted healthcare workers on the frontline.
Brits are said to have spent a whopping £1 billion on the national day of love in 2020, but with a very different world this year the charity, which was founded by NHS workers for NHS workers at the start of the pandemic, is encouraging the nation to donate their Valentine’s Day funds to our much-loved frontline NHS workers.
Donations received will help the charity to continue delivering goods and services, including PPE, free counselling sessions and childcare grants.
Jeeves Wijesuriya, spokesperson for Healthcare Workers’ Foundation said:
“The past year has been rocky for all of us. And we must also remember our frontline workers have been under huge pressure during this pandemic, putting themselves at risk to care for us and our loved ones.
“If we are to keep our NHS and frontline staff going, we must do all we can to support their mental health and wellbeing. We want to show healthcare workers just how loved they are this Valentine’s Day. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will go towards helping those working tirelessly to help us in our hour of need.”
Despite the lockdown, new research from UK comparison site, Finders UK, found that Brits still plan on celebrating the day of love and will spend an average of £25 this Valentine’s Day. For every ten people who donate £25, this could help to provide healthcare workers with hours of professional counselling for NHS workers.
The impact of the pandemic on NHS workers physically and mentally continues to worsen, with reports suggesting nearly half of NHS critical staff are dealing with severe PTSD, depression, or anxiety. The HWF was founded to help combat these issues and through the Valentine’s Day appeal the charity hopes to continue protecting the welfare and wellbeing of NHS workers, from helping to support with both physical and mental health, as well as ensuring frontline staff have access to day-to-day necessities, as well as supporting the bereaved families of healthcare workers that lost their lives during the pandemic.

CONTEXT:
WeatherReady is a year round campaign - run in partnership with Cabinet Office – to help you prepare for and cope with severe weather. Thinking ahead and preparing for what the weather may bring can make a real difference.
Members of the public visiting the Met Office website for the latest weather forecast are able to access up-to-date, expert seasonal advice from carefully selected organisations to enable them to prepare for and respond to the weather, so they can stay safe and protect their property.
Here are a few simple steps you can take to prepare yourself, your vehicle and your home or business:
Get your flu jab
Seasonal flu occurs every year, usually in winter. The flu vaccine can reduce the chances of those most vulnerable to COVID-19 getting flu.Check your vehicle is winter ready
Top up with a screen wash that is effective in cold temperatures, check your tyres are road-worthy and pack a winter kit for your car.Check your heating
Cold weather can be a risk to your health especially if you are over 65 or have a long-term health condition. Your home should be heated to more than 18°C.Plumbing checks can save money
Freezing and thawing can cause pipe bursts. Check your pipes are insulated especially outside and make sure you know where your stop tap is.Weatherproof your home and garden
Think about what might be impacted by strong winds or flooding around your home. Organise maintenance checks and consider moving items.Have basic supplies to hand
Put useful things such as water, torch, and batteries plus emergency numbers in a bag in case a storm takes out power, water or phone lines.Make alternative plans
You may need alternative commuting plans for severe weather, and alternative childcare plans in case of school or nursery closures.Think of vulnerable neighbours
Look out for others in your community and help people access the supplies, help or information they need to keep them safe and well in winter.

OMB of the Day: Create posters to promote #HealthChain from @TheHWF, supporting NHS workers at this time of crisis with counselling, PPE, childcare grants, food & mental health support.
With the situation getting worse for NHS workers right now, we are running today’s brief in support of an amazing new platform that is helping NHS staff to get the support they deserve when they need it most.
I really do hope all of the OMBLES get involved today. If you’re reading this right now. Have a go. And. collectively we can help promote something great and show our support of our healthcare workers.
BRIEF:
Create posters that promote the new NHS worker platform called ‘HealthChain’ from the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation, supporting and connecting NHS workers at this time of crisis to counselling, PPE, childcare grants, food and mental health support.
Do it in a visually emotive way, to help raise money so the charity can continue to support the frontline as much as we can.
Tweet your submissions to @OneMinuteBriefs, @thehwf, @roshanaMN, @jesswade, @AskJeevesWij and @DrDomPimenta with the hashtags #HealthChain & #HelpThemHelpUs
PRIZE:
We cannot offer a prize, but we can offer you the warm fuzzy feeling of contributing to a very good cause and making a real difference to those trying to save lives in the worst circumstances imaginable.
CONTEXT:
The Healthcare Workers’ Foundation (Formerly HEROES), was founded by NHS workers at the height of the pandemic to look after the welfare and wellbeing of NHS staff at the worst moment of their working lives. Since it’s humble beginnings, it’s provided over 500,000 items of PPE, food, skincare products, units of counselling, childcare grants and more.
Health Chain
We have a tired and beleaguered workforce of 1.5m NHS workers, struggling with a third wave, the largest yet, of a deadly virus. They cannot cope on their own. But they are not alone – they have a whole country behind them, of individuals, businesses, inventors, engineers. HealthChain exists to connect NHS workers to each other, but also to that wider world of good will, converting the desperate desire for so many to do their bit into real and tangible good for those fighting the virus in our hospitals and communities.
HealthChain is a fully-functional custom-built platform, providing extensive mental and physical support services to ALL healthcare workers, connecting to our external friends and partners as well as our internal services for childcare grants. We also use HealthChain to take the pulse of our healthcare workers, what they need, what’s working, what isn’t, PPE supplies, counselling requirements, what boosts morale – this is a key part of how the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation stays relevant and connected, delivering funds raised as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Your support and donation will help us to continue to fund access to counselling, our Safe Spaces project, food, morale projects and PPE deliveries, childcare grants and provide discounts through a wide range of services with our network of HWF Friends.
What the public can do to help:
HealthChain has been created in response to the fractured and difficult world of support for healthcare workers that’s out there – different groups of professionals, different hospitals, different care settings – all offer support but in different and inefficient ways. We want to create a one-stop shop for ALL healthcare workers, to connect them directly with the immense goodwill of the public, so we can all get through this together.
We need to connect the public to all healthcare workers, so we can all fight the pandemic, together.
For NHS workers you can sign-up to Health Chain with an NHS email here:
For the general public, you can learn more about the HWF and donate here:

This brief was inspired after Steve sent me a KFC poster his 7 year-old daughter had done to cheer me up following my back surgery on Thursday. ‘Merry Crispymas’!!! Absolutely brilliant.
So…today’s OMB is for the kids!
(unless you want to unleash your inner-child of course and go full-on scamp style!)
Brief:
Create posters to advertise the number one gift on your santa list!
As your kids, nieces, nephews, cousins and grand children have made a list, and you are checking it twice, we want them to bring to life the very thing that will bring them happiness in a few days and create a poster to advertise why it’s so great!
It can be for ANYTHING they want. From expected toys and games, to world peace, saving the environment or even a McDonalds breakfast! Everything goes this festive week for the young ones.
With many of you still working hard and lots of excited children counting the days, lets give these creative minds something to do to fill in the time – they are future OMBLES after all!
BRIEF:
Create a poster that advertises the Christmas present that is wanted most. They can use any paper, colour or crayon, laptop or iPad, they can even create a little TikTok advert!
Let’s give them full creative control as only they know how to do.
Tweet your submissions to @OneMinuteBriefs & @SteveMoyler with the hashtags #MyXmasWishlist & #MiniOMBLES
PRIZE:
Winner receives their vision brought to life! As well as a framed personalised illustration of them as anyone they wish to be or meet. One for the bedroom wall!
See some of the example above and below. Steve asked his children to draw themselves s superheroes and he brought them to life!
CONTEXT:
Christmas is coming and the ideas have been getting fat this season.
There have been some great Xmas adverts but we want to see what the OMB kids can do.
As you dash around for the last minute sends to Santa, let’s gift the young minds a moment to shine as the clock ticks down.
DO’s
• Be a child. (Big kids allowed)
• Be as creative as you want
• Use any advertising medium
• Let that young mind do its thing
• Make everyone excited about the number one gift on your Santa’s list
DONT’s…
• Be an adult (Children at heart allowed)
• Don’t amend their creativity!
WINNING CRITERIA
• The winning one will make us all feel like that moment we came down the stairs at 5am after being told ‘it’s too early and go back to bed!’
• We want the ‘HE’S BEEN!’ moment in a funny, simple and perfect way that only kids can do.
REMEMBER… “If they don’t know they will have a go!”

So let’s give children’s creativity a Christmas cheer to end 2020. Good luck!
