EarPeace Launches in Europe - ‘Music to your Ears’
London/June 17th, 2013 - EarPeace, the #1 high fidelity earplug for live entertainment in the USA and
Japan, has launched in Europe and the UK, opening an office in London.
EarPeace features the latest in-ear technology, and are engineered to deliver the superior sound-quality
and the ultra-low profile of custom ear plugs, at a fraction of the price. “We wanted to deliver 90% of the
performance at 10% of the cost of £150-200 custom earplugs” says Jay Clark, founder of EarPeace.
“EarPeace enhances any loud entertainment experience. It lowers the volume while keeping the sound
clear, is very comfortable and virtually invisible – all for less than £13.00. Music to your ears. The response
from DJ’s, musicians and fans has been tremendous.”
“I've been using EarPeace for the past five weeks” says Patrick Dierson, lighting director of Jay-Z's Blueprint
3 tour “and have been very impressed with both the performance and ease of use. They've been
working really well [and the] filtering gives a nice level of protection without feeling like you're missing the
live sound experience of the show.”
KC of the Fatback DJs says: “I use Ear Peace everywhere, from small bars with loud acoustics to nationally
renowned venues with $100,000 line array systems; they make every loud environment sound better.”
Great Sound, No More Headaches
The attenuation filters allow a small, precise amount of unobstructed sound to enter the ear; giving you
great sound at a lower volume, with the background noise filtered out. Musicians can hear instructions on
stage and fans can talk to each other in the crowd during the show – and still leave without their ears ringing.
As it only takes a 3db volume drop to double the safe amount of time you can stay listening to music,
EarPeace’s 10 – 20 db of protection provides a safe listening environment without compromising sound
quality.
For image conscious users, EarPeace ear plugs are designed to be low profile and discrete – even coming
in three different skin tones. The patented tab design allows you to control exactly how they fit in your ear
and remove them easily. The sleek stylish case is something that people actually want to clip to their keychain.
EarPeace ear plugs are resuable and made out of a soft, strong, hypoallergenic silicone, providing a
comfortable, yet snug fit that can also be worn under headphones by DJs.
“We are working with top artists, DJ’s and brands in the global music world to fundamentally change the
way people think about hearing protection. You can control the volume and improve your experience. You
don’t have to compromise any more. These are ear plugs you’ll actually want to wear.” says founder Jay.

One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Advertise an Andy Murray Clothing Range

After watching history being made by Andy Murray yesterday we thought it would be good to create a brief for a new clothing range. You responded brilliantly. Loads of entries today of a good quality.

It's very hot so I'll keep it brief...the winners are below in no particular order.

@keviniho79 with this fantastic logo based ad. Reminiscent of the Beckham logo.

@Ullger_Art with '647564' a really stylish ad with a stylish brand name.

@SkyNewsMan for 'Hug Boss' and 'Servace' as they are humorously clever and give a playful dig at a rival brand.

One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Advertise Bacon

Well after a hectic 2 and a half days at D&AD New Blood, we were in huge need of a coffee and a bacon sarnie this morning!

So advertising bacon was the perfect brief.

It was a popular brief and it's brilliant to see new people joing the OMB fold in the last couple of days. Some fantastic work came out of it.

But...we always have winners.

Shane Jones @dognbonesjones wins with 'Streaks Ahead' which is a fact based ad and simple yet effective. Shane is becoming quite prolific at OMB's. Who can stop him?

We also have a first time winner in Elliot Withers @Elliot_Withers with this hilarious and brutally honest advert. Very very true. We like this different way of thinking and it grabs attention.

We will be doing special blog features for our D&AD New Blood Stand over the weekend. Thanks to everyone who was involved at Stand 83. It was a pleasure to be there.

Have great weekends. See you Monday.

One Minute Brief WINNER:
Advertise London

Surprised at how little entries we had today for England's capital city!!
Not the best level we have had. Maybe everyone's got a hangover?

However, we always have a winner and Ryan Wallman aka @Dr_Draper wins today with 'Je Thames' which took on the tourism angle and if anyone know their French they will get it.
Great ad.

We hope that some of you will visit us at D&AD New Blood tomorrow or Weds/Thurs. Stand 83! As we are travelling down to LONDON there will be no brief tomorrow during the day.

We will have a brief every hour 6-9pm. We want it to be a LIVE Twitter experience of New Blood for those of you who can't make it.

Weds 3rd - Thurs 4th we will have a different brief every hour. 10am til 8pm. We hope you'll all get involved. There are prizes to be won including OMB T-shirts and (for students) a placement at McCann Manchester. Get involved!! On and Offline.

See you tomorrow evening!

One Minute Brief WINNER:
Advertise Vibrators

A rather 'exciting' brief today was matched by lots of amazing ideas.

Both winners actually won yesterday. They are getting greedy for more OMB wins! We have Shane Jones with 'Give a Fuck' which is an actual emotive ad but uses the words brilliantly. Very clever.

Our other winner is Bryan Lad @BShryane with 'top drawer' which is brilliantly simple word play.

Really enjoyed looking through today's entries even though it was very worrying having people look over my shoulder as I opened up lots of images of giant dildos on my screen.

Enjoy your weekends! See you all on Monday. Remember to let us know if you're going to D&AD next week. If you're a student. Get in touch. We're giving away the chance of a placement at McCann Manchester as well as OMB t-shirts.
