One Minute Brief WINNERS: Advertise The Ashes
One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Advertise The Ashes
Astounded by the amount of entries we have seen today. We actually thought the number would be quite low considering that it was about cricket!
However, it really caught the OMBLES imagination and we really appreciate all of your entries. This has resulted in a lot of winners. We have had to rule out entries that would usually win with their quality so don't be disheartened if you haven't won!
Winners in no particular order are:
@thescampfactory with this nice visual of the trophy upside down. Subtle but nice idea with the line.
@billodavies with this copy based ad that makes cricket seem a lot more exciting and action packed!
@billodavies with this copy based ad that makes cricket seem a lot more exciting and action packed!
@carlhalford with this cucumber sandwich and shrimp ad. Love how this ad has nothing to do with cricket. This is an ad to learn from.
@BOC_ATM with 'Fight of the Year' Great visual. And 'Ashes to Ashes. Dusk to Dusk' Nice line. James with the art direction. Nick with the copy.
@sharpstuffbits with this superb visual using the negative space of the head to head to show the trophy.
@justjoel_ with 'Urn your stripes' Simple line and using a sports brand. Nice work.
@stephenhunter21 with 'Be in, when they're out' Nice idea for Sky Anytime.
@katesteeth with 'Sparks will fly' Great line and visual. This could be an amazing image if it was shot for real.
@matthew__wyatt with 'OUT' Simple, hard-hitting line and a great idea for Sky GO. Lots of Sky related entries today!
Thanks to everybody! See you tomorrow. More prizes to be won!

Advertise Lucozade Energy
200 entries on the dot. What an amazing response.
Thanks to all of you who entered. Overwhelming amount of entries and great quality too!
Thanks to Lucozade Energy and their social department for making it happen and proving what a success it can be for big brands. It needs the confidence to just go for it and make things happen for the OMBLES to be able to show what they can do.
So they have chosen their winners and 2 runners up. @LucozadeEnergy will DM you and let you know about prizes etc.
Overall winner is @dognbonesjones with 'energy prices' Fantastic response style ad that would be amazing if they decide to run it as it's very current.
Runners up:
@sharpstuffbits with 'fuel your performance' Nice line and campaignable as an idea.
@bshryane with 'For those long adeventures' Nice endorsement by the Hobbit!
Cheers everyone!
One Minute Brief WINNERS: Advertise Christmas Markets
One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Advertise Christmas Markets
Superb response to today's brief. Resulting in lots of winners due to the great quality of ideas. Lots of humour in there and clever ideas too. Fantastic stuff.
Winners will all have a free German beer behind the bar waiting for them at the OMB event.
Early 2014. Let us know if you are interested at interest@bankofcreativity.co.uk
In no particular order the winners are:
@billodavies with 'what's the wurst that could happen' hilarious parody line that would really grab your attention compared to the drivel you see in other Christmas market ads. Other funny one is Frank 'n' Stein. Quality!
@BOC_ATM with 'Sausage Fest' and 'GluVINE' First one being a silly idea. But silly is good. Silly is eyecatching. The GluVINE idea is a competition based idea using Vine and Twitter and could be a great way of promoting the products and markets socially.
@WorldofOlly with the market trader quote style ads. Really nice insight.
@alvo_muses with 'tinsel town' because our friend Vikki Ross said it had to win. And we won't argue! ;)
@matthew__wyatt with 2 winners. The first being German words that we all understand and relate to what's going on in the ad. Simple but very clever. The second being 'Hallo Boys' a fantastic parody of a famous ad. Love this one.
@alexthewebb with a nice response ad just a day after Germany beating England. We love ads that use response advertising and this was great.
Thanks to everyone who got involved.
See you tomorrow.

One Minute Brief WINNERS: Advertise Chris Leese (Hip-Hop Artist)
One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Advertise Chris Leese (Hip-Hop Artist)
Brilliant response to a collaboration with the talented Chris Leese. Huge amount of entries and Chris could only whittle it down to 18 at one point!
Quality stuff but we always have to have winners so:
In first place winning a signed album is @Scright_UK 'Everybody Rates Chris' An amazing line that really relates to Chris as an artist now. Especially after the hugely debatable decision in his recent title match which gained him lots of recognition.
In second place winning a CD copy of the album is @robertgorton with 'Macc Daddy' Great simple copy based ad with great meaning and relevance.
In third place winning a digital copy of the album is @billodavies with 'The new name in hip-hop'. Nice use of swearing!
Special mention to @Placey80 with the typographic microphone visual. Admittedly not taken a minute to create but is a great piece of work which Chris thought was quality.
Another mention from Chris goes to our very own Nick @BOC_ATM for 'C.LEESE' using some John Cleese endorsement. As you do.
Thanks to everyone who got involved.

One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Create the 2013 NABS Christmas Card
Another successful collaboration with NABS. Hope you are all enjoying working with them as much as we are as it's for a great cause and you are all playing a huge part in spreading the word of NABS to people in the creative industry.
NABS have now chosen their winners, who will receive a bottle of champagne each. It's a joint win between our very own Nick @BOC_ATM and Jamie Axford @jimbobaggins75.
The cover of the card, created by Jamie, is the subtle Christmas tree image in the NABS logo and the copy in Nick's version will be on the inside of the card.
Thanks to everyone who got involved. Let's hope we can collaborate on lots more NABS projects going into the future.

One Minute Brief of the Day:
Advertise Chris Leese (Hip-Hop Artist)
Today we have a special collaboration on a brief with our good friend Chris Leese. After putting on a phenomenal performance in his Dont Flop Rap Battle Title Match (below) that we attended recently and the release of his brilliant new single(below), we thought that now is the ideal time for our followers to show us their skills to promote Chris Leese.
1st Place wins a signed copy of his Album.
2nd Place wins a copy of the Album.
3rd Place wins a digital copy of the Album.
Follow Chris on Twitter at @chrissyleese and use in your tweets.
See his website here for more and read the info below to find out more about Chris.
http://chrisleese.co.uk/
He’s collaborated with, and performed alongside the best names in the country, been featured in everything from his local newspaper to HipHop Connection magazine, won the UK Takeover Battle Championships, won the Don't Flop Times Change Tournament in 2011, and gained a reputation for his cocky approach, quick wit & intricate rhyme schemes.
Writing since the age of 10, recording over Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” instrumental on a tape deck, rap music has been flowing through Chris’ veins for years – even before he had pubes.
In the early noughties, Chris was releasing CD’s locally with his group Gouki Productions, gaining a reputation for wrecking microphones in his hometome of Macclesfield, as well as the rest of the North West of England.
After a number of years, the group disbanded, and Chris began working with fellow Maxonian Beit Nun. Upon recording a couple of songs, the pair formed the group Four-Max alongside vocalist Jane Ellis, and long-term friend DJ Benny E in 2009. After only a couple of local shows, Four-Max attracted a lot of attention, drawing large crowds as well as media interest. They are currently recording their debut album, which features guests such as Dr Syntax, Genesis Elijah & Stephen Morris (Joy Division/New Order).
Although expressing his dislike for the current ‘written’ trend ever occurring in the UK & overseas, Chris thoroughly enjoys the competitive element of rap battling, and can occasionally be seen exchanging verses in the UK’s biggest battle league: Don’t Flop. Between 2006-2009 he also gained himself notable semi-final positions in competitions such as JumpOff & BattleScars.
Chris signed to Innit Records in 2010. The first release he was involved in was the self-titled LP from his other group ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’. Handling all the production himself, the concept album saw Chris & fellow Gouki Productions member R.O.B trading bars of pure filth over a backdrop of bouncy, sample-heavy beats. Described as ready to ‘burn brains with pornographic disorder’, the release gathered praise from all angles, including poet, novelist & playwright Benjamin Zephaniah.
November 2011 saw the release of Mr Leese’s debut solo album; ‘Everybody Hates Chris’.
A digital and physical release, most of the production is handled by heavyweight producers Wizard & Naïve. Guests include Louis Logic, Assa, and the whole of the Innit Records camp.
Chris described the album as a 'fucking masterpiece', and it promises not to disappoint.
2012 saw Chris Leese climb up the rankings within the UK & the international battle scene. Flying to Canada to battle in the worlds biggest rap league, King of the Dot, Chris obliterated Toronto native Tricky P and left fans all over the globe wanting more of his jokey yet distinctly accurate and articulate style.
In 2013, Mr Leese was put forward as a challenger for the Don't Flop Title Match against the current champion Tony D. In one of the most debatable decisions of all time, Chris lost the battle and decided to focus on the music side of things for a short while.
He is currently working on a joint album with Blackpool-based rapper Jay Madden, and a project with his new band - Bad Advice.
Good luck to everyone on the brief.

Advertise Promax UK event
Last week we did a talk and all day workshop at Promax UK. An excellently run event. We were lucky enough to see Sir John Hegarty speak before our talk and we also had the legendary director Tony Kaye sat at our stand for 2 hours and he did a few One Minute Briefs before taking some selfies with us both. Crazy day! He loves the concept.
We included a number of you in our talk and a selection of our favourite OMBs. We have had comments from a few people and the organisers that they found OMB to be inspiring and we are in talks about some exciting collaborations as a result.
So, once again, thanks so much for your continued support of OMB and the excellent work that you submit. It really is getting noticed. Not just by us, but during Promax it was put in front of people in the world of TV and famous film directors from LA. It is worth getting involved. Spread the word. We aim to reward you all with many more prizes in the months to come and we will do our talk at the OMB event that we will be doing early next year.
The day before the event, we set a brief to advertise the event itself.
We featured two entries in our talk but this one was chosen overall as the winner as it captured everything we wanted to say.
@thescampfactory You have won yourself a free ticket to Promax Europe that is being held in London, UK in March 2014. An amazing prize. Big thank you to Promax for offering such a great prize and inviting us to take part in the event. And thanks to everyone who entered.

@AlexTheWebb with 'Stay-in fashion' Could be a brilliant campaign that could extend beyond slippers too. Love it.
Thanks to everyone who entered.

Seems like everyone likes toast! Amazing response to the brief. Thanks to all of you toast lovers.
Of course, we always have winners so here they are in no particular order:

@lpbiesty with the nice visual of the toast popping out of the loaf.
@matthew__wyatt with 'serving the nation' great visual and strong line.
@hellonaomi_ with this nice link to Remembrance Day using the soldiers and 11/11.

Absolutely amazing response today to a fantastic brief from a great collaboration with @LizzyNicholls88 Thanks to every single one of you for your entries. It has been one of the best OMB's yet!
We had lots of examples of people doing their own which were hilarious!! However, we feel the winners told the story of what Literal Scribbles is about perfectly.
Runners up were @alvo_muses and @millydacosta with their brilliant copy based entries. Special postcard style prints go to you two.
The overall winner uses a celebrity endorsement and turns around a very famous saying. Brilliant piece of thinking. Love it. Framed print and postcard style prints of her choice goes to @hellonaomi_

Thanks everybody on behalf of us and Lizzy.
