Commemorative posters for 100 years since World War 1
Yet another fantastic response to a topical brief. Lots of superb ideas that, as ever, were presented in the respectful way we have come to expect from this amazing creative community. Today, one entry really stood out for it's simplicity and message.
@misterdjc with 'Never again' A very emotive image and line. Brilliant.
Thanks to all who got involved.

A great response to a tricky brief today. Lots of entries with a lot of humour included. As mentioned, this brief was a repeat of one we ran a year ago. This will happen from time to time given that we run one every weekday. It is interesting to see how the ideas have improved in quantity and quality since last time and good to see a fresh take on things.
Today's winners are:
@johnford with the nice gun visual.
@ant_sterdam using the cost comparison of having the procedure and not. Great idea.
@adrianbentley with 'chop, chop' Nice thinking.
@shireendew with a simple clapperboard image. Brilliant.
Well done all.

One Minute Brief WINNERS: Campaign to host #OMBLIVE2 in Manchester, Birmingham or London.
One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Campaign to host #OMBLIVE2 in Manchester, Birmingham or London.
Today's brief decided itself. After an overwhelming response to the question we posed last night about the location of our next event, people began to share their votes in creative ways and sell their preferred city to us. Therefore, we set it as today's brief and the results were brilliant.
VOTES SO FAR (including brief, tweets & Facebook): MANCHESTER 36 - LONDON 32 - BIRMINGHAM 36 Very close so keep your votes coming. Where do YOU want our next event to be? #OMBLIVE2
We have spread the winners between the 3 cities. We will make a decision on location as soon as we can. We will take into consideration the votes and also the price of tickets etc which we aim to keep as low as we can. If anyone would like to sponsor the event, have ideas for a good venue or would like to take part in #OMBLIVE2 in some way then please e-mail us at interest@bankofcreativity.co.uk
Birmingham winners:
@matthew__wyatt with 'One Minute Briefs follows you' Brilliant and cheeky.
@killedthehype with myself and James in Brum. Nice fun idea.
@supercoolkp and @far_real with 'let's meet in the middle. Similarly great thinking.
Manchester winners:
@gazzamatazzzz with 'Buzzin' Nice image and manc language.
@owenjevans with a nice quote idea with great benefit and also honesty.
@paperjamcreate using people's Twitter pictures all together. Nice idea.
@richbayley80 with 'welcomb to manchester' Never thought I'd see myself on a parody of this famous Manc poster!
London winners:
@dr_draper with 'London is waiting' using the stopwatch as Big Ben. Great visual.
@stutecopy with an ambient idea using the London idea as our logo. Like it.
@leaworthington with a brilliant hybrid OMB/Underground logo.
...and we also have a great ad which we hope you'll all agree with from @dognbonesjones
Make sure you e-mail your suggestions and ideas to us so we can try and make the second event even better than the first. Thanks everyone.

During a busy say doing Live One Minute Briefs for the Summer School Selection day at McCann Manchester, we ran a weedkiller brief. As ever, some brilliant ideas but we liked the simplicity of this by @romglish 'gone in a heartbeat' nice visual representation of the line and product. Great stuff.

One Minute Brief WINNERS:

Another great response to this brief. People must have barbecue on their mind in this heat and it seems to help with ideas. Lots of good ideas around and here are the winners.
@supercoolkp and @lpbiesty with simlar thoughts to 'take up smoking' Nice way of changing the ordinary to create something new.
@chorles with 'nice rack' Cheeky but eye-catching too.
@markemoon with a nice take on the B&Q logo. Maybe you should get in touch with them?
@katesteeth with another different way of thinking. Only advice here would be it's not advertising the product or service and is purely creative. Needs to do a job. Perhaps something price led.
@johnharfield with a nice BBC logo based idea. Maybe it could be a new channel.
@lukewretham89 with 'it's a primal thing' Like the idea of using instinct etc.
Top stuff people.

In today's news was that One Direction is now 4 years old. Doesn't time fly! We thought it would make a great brief and the winners show some fantastic ideas that would otherwise never exist. Brilliant stuff.
