Moving on...
Moving on...
Good evening everyone.
We wanted to let you all know that we have now left our position of creative team at McCann Manchester.
It is a decision that we have given a lot of thought but we feel the time is right to take on a new challenge. We have made a lot of good friends at McCann and we wish everyone there every success in the future.
Here's what we've been upto since we joined a couple of years ago....
We have worked on some great projects with great clients, collaborated with McCann Barcelona/Helsinki/London/Paris, and picked up various creative awards for our work in the Roses, MPA, NABS, Fresh & been Cannes Young Lions finalists in both 2013 & 2014. We have also built up a following of over 15,000 people on Twitter and featured on blogs across the world including the New York Times and Buzzfeed.
Aswell as this, we have been able to turn our concept One Minute Briefs into a vibrant, creative, social community that produces fun, engaging content each day. It has been a pleasure to meet such great people along the way and talk at events for D&AD and the BBC alongside people like Sir John Hegarty, Wayne Hemingway and director Tony Kaye. We are proud to have received recognition for our efforts recently by being highly commended by Cannes Lions Media Academy, made it to the final 30 of the Pitch UK and been shortlisted for the Great British Entrepreneurial Awards. We were also given a special invite to Downing Street.
We have always tried to go that bit further wherever we work and that is why we created our very own agency pub, ran the agency football team & even designed an agency racing car. We've also been known for getting a bit creative on agency Christmas decorations! (See pics below)
In the past few months we have mentored the Top 6 graduates for the McCann 'Advertise Yourself' recruitment campaign that we created and took to D&AD New Blood. This received a huge amount of entries and has been a very rewarding project to see through start to finish. Good luck to the people who made it through.
We were proud to represent McCann Manchester for one last time at the Fresh Awards this week and leave on a high after an enjoyable couple of years. Below are the results of the categories we were involved in.
Fresh Award - McCann Manchester - McCann Mcr - Recruitment - Silver
Fresh Award - McCann Manchester - CrossCountry - Poster - Bronze

@chorles with a thought provoking ad that makes great use of a stat and the time it takes to make a One Minute Ad. Superb. I want to see this become a real poster.
@little_scamp85 with a beautifully written piece. I want to see this turned into a real piece. Could make a great piece of film. Maybe we should turn it into one?
@glennscholefiel with 'left right left left left' Great army themed ad. Again' would love to see this happen for real. Maybe even if the army got on board with it?
@worldofolly with an emoticon based idea. This would be a brilliant SMS campaign. Make it happen.
I've got to say that these are amongst the strongest entries seen on OMB and can be developed into great ads. E-mail us at interest@bankofcreativity.co.uk and we can try to help make it happen.
