One Minute Brief of the Day: Create a NABS Thank You Ad and/or Christmas Card
One Minute Brief of the Day:
Create a NABS Thank You Ad and/or Christmas Card
After the success of last year's NABS Christmas briefs we are collaborating again this year and giving away 2 x £50 Gift Vouchers to the winning ideas. Your name/twitter handle will appear on the Christmas card and go into all of the major agencies and the same goes for the print ad where you can get your name and work into Campaign Magazine!
Remember to include @oneminutebriefs and @nabs_uk in your tweets.
See brief and info below:
PROJECT BACKGROUND:
Each year NABS sends a Christmas card to industry supporters to thank them for their support throughout the year. We also run an ad in Campaign magazine, which is our opportunity to thank all those whose support we so heavily rely on across the year and wish them a merry Christmas. We are looking for ideas for both a thank you press ad and a Christmas card.
OBJECTIVES:
Primary:
To wish the industry a happy Christmas
Secondary:
To thank people for their continued support throughout 2014
NABS is here to help improve life for those working in the world of advertising and media via the provision of advice, support and career guidance.
NABS believes that by supporting people in our industry through good times and bad, we can make working life a bit easier in such a dynamic and volatile industry.
Alongside financial grants NABS also offers a wide range of everyday services including career coaching, the NABS Advice Line and workshops covering a range of topics from pressure, confidence and gravitas, to parenting and work/life balance.
NABS is funded entirely by voluntary donations from the media and advertising industry it supports.

This brief really caught everyone's imagination and is probably the most difficult one we have had to judge due to the sheer amount and quality of entries. It was a bit of fun and some of the entries are hilarious. Below are a selection of winners taken from amount of faves, retweets, votes and our own choices. One entry was retweeted over 70 times. That means in one way or another that tweet has reached a HUGE amount of people. Make sure you use it to your advantage.
Our tips are to:
1. Include your twitter name on your image. This helps us to judge the winners and will get you recognition when ideas are shared.
2. Mention people and brands (within reason). Get the recognition you deserve.
3. Include info in your tweet to get people to click on the photo.
4. Don't mention @oneminutebriefs at the start of the tweet...include it somewhere in the middle or at the end. Otherwise it will only come to us.
