One Minute Brief WINNERS: Advertise Retirement Homes

One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Advertise Retirement Homes

A slightly delayed winners post from last Wednesday.

Retirement Homes, somewhere we will ALL end up - well possibly not some of our followers due to their unhealthy promiscuous habits. @wavey_gravy ;)

Anyways, a good turnout but we felt their was a slightly negative vibe to a lot of the entries which didn't fit the brief. The two winners are below.

@shireendew with 'You'll have the rest time of your life' a nice play on words.

and

@dr_draper with "Close to Heaven' has a great meaning behind it that isn't obvious at first.

Thanks to all that got involved and we apologies for the delayed announcement.

One Minute Brief WINNER:

Apologies for the late winner of the sweets brief. We were in London and Barcelona at the time and couldn't upload them.

Some great entries as ever and after taking into account all of the votes and a couple that we liked here are the winners:

@chloeeeeeeeeee with 'Worth it' what a powerful image and line.

@dognbonesjones with 'Mmmm' which speaks for itself.

@ebsnare with 'YOLO' another great use of copy!

Quality work everyone. Thanks to you all!!

One Minute Brief of the Day: PROMOTE our friend @BeitNun Hip Hop Artist

July 30, 2013

One Minute Brief of the Day: PROMOTE our friend @BeitNun Hip Hop Artist. Tweet us your ads and we'll RT and feature. #creative #advertising

Prizes to be won:

Winner receives the official Beit Nun T-shirt and signed album.

4 Runners Up receive a signed album.

See info and links below to find out more....

Looking forward to see how everyone takes on this challenge!

Info on today's brief: Beit Nun means 'Son of Right Hand' in Hebrew and is where the name 'Ben' comes from. It's pronounced BET NUN

Beit Nun is a Hip-Hop artist from Macclesfield, England, and is the founder of Innit Records.

Writing and performing since 2000, with a discography dating back to 2005, and working
with some of the the biggest Hip-Hop artists in the country, Beit Nun has certainly made his mark in the scene.

His debut solo release 'Where The Art Is (Volume 1)' in 2007, a collection of previously unreleased work, gave an early glimpse of what was to come. Best known for his uncompromisingly honest and raw approach to his songwriting, Beit Nun has gained a trusting and ever-growing worldwide following of supporters.

In 2009, alongside fellow Macclesfield artist and good friend Chris Leese, he formed Four-Max, and the pair then recruited singer Jane Ellis and DJ Benny E into the outfit. This proved a very popular collaboration as the group performed live together through 2010, and began work on their collective album as a group, to high
local demand.

After what seemed a long break since Beit Nun's previous solo release, he returned at the end of 2011 with the single and accompanying music video 'A Reintroduction'. This would be the first single to be taken from his second solo venture 'Where The Art Is (Volume 2)' and really helped in putting his name back on the map.

Released in July 2012, 'Where The Art Is (Volume 2)' was a great success, spawning a further 3 singles/E.P.'s and 4 music videos, to a very positive response.

2013 is a very exciting year for Beit Nun, with a collaboration E.P. alongside Australian producer Able8 being released in August 2013, and a collaboration album with fellow Innit Records artist Drunken Master in the works.

He plans to release his long awaited debut album early 2014.

One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Advertise Cannibalism

WOW! You all love cannibalism! Nearly 100 entries! Amazing work. Not only this, the quality was brilliant. Quite a few 'You are what you eat' entries. Not to say this wasn't a nice idea! Great minds think alike.

@Keviniho79 gets a mention for his 'it'll cost you an arm and a leg' ad but think it took slightly longer than a minute ;)

Can't stress enough how good we though the entries were today but going off the votes etc here are the winners in no particular order:

@alvo_muses with his mini campaign 'Come Die With Me' and 'Male for 2' Quality copy.

@theideaward with the 'Mando's' ad...actually creating a new chain of restaurants for cannibalism is really interesting.

@wavey_gravy with 'Fancy an Italian'? Sparked off a mass menu of cannibalistic meals on our Twitter feed earlier!

@atAlexGoddard with 'So hungry I could eat a corpse' Fantastic use of lined paper.

Brilliant stuff as ever! Tomorrow's brief will have prizes on offer so make sure you get involved and tell your friends too! See you tomorrow.

The quality was so high that we have a number of winners today.

@zoemlyons with 'schizophrenia with sanity' Great concept. Campaignable.

@dognbonesjones with 'cowboy, vicar and frenchman.' Very clever and funny and not a joke!

@PWCFreelance with 'look like a dick' a hilarious but true ad and shows there is lots of choice.

@abigailrhian with 'Be More Frog' a brilliant pisstake of the 'Be More Dog' ad by O2. Quality idea.

One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Advertise Vasectomies

Lovely topic for our fun Friday brief today and some great ideas too. Very difficult to choose between but the following 2 seem to have edged it. Well done to everyone. See you back here next week.

Our first winner is 'Seedless' by @PWCFreelance a very simple metaphor. Simple really is better. You cannot fail to get this.

Second winner by @stephenhunter21 is an ad very similar to a multi award winning ad by our very own McCann Manchester a few years ago. If you stick true to one minute thinking then something that's been done before is always going to happen. However, that does not discount the fact that it is a fantastic idea.

Well done to all. Tweet us your thoughts.
