Threw in this brief to see what type of an audience we all are and we had lots of cheeky entries sent in. Lots of fantastic work on show.

The winners have a great level of humour and show different levels of what people think of account handlers. Really interesting to see people's different reactions to this brief.

Quick note. Can people remember to include their Twitter handle on their entries in the corner so we can quickly credit winners.

@sharpstuffbits with 'the lesser of two evils' Fantastic thinking.

@jay_pegg with this cleaning signage based ad. Good humour, style and benefit.

@snyggstyle with the 'artbag' Another funny ad that uses a great agency insight.

@matthew__wyatt Nice graphic style and is a nice way of showing what they have to do when dealing with volatile creatives!

As a lot of you already know, we are hosting an event in the Northern Quarter of Manchester

If you don’t already know about One Minute Briefs there is a bit of info below about us.
One Minute Briefs is a concept brought to you by Nick Entwistle & James Clancy at The Bank of Creativity.

We want to change the way people think about advertising and believe that our One Minute Briefs concept can change the way we work which benefits the creative industry whilst also being great fun as it forces you to rely on your creative instinct.

One Minute Briefs produce some fantastic/funny ideas via interaction over Twitter throughout the creative industry and we have given numerous talks about OMB’s including one at the art of new business at LBi, London and we also hosted a stand at the 2013 D&AD New Blood event.

We have just won an MPA Award for ‘Next Big Thing’ and a Fresh Award for ‘innovation’ and hosted an OMB workshop/talk at Freshtival and Promax UK.

The beauty of One Minute Briefs is that the ideas that come out of them can be really really shit or really really good. But you’ve only spent one minute on it so it’s all good whatever happens. We often find that the first idea you have is the best.

Recently our loyal OMBLE Joe has decided to move on in his career and as a valued member of the OMB community we'd like to rally the troops to #GetJoeAJob!!

Essex born and raised, took myself as a bit of a technical drawer decided to take a route into Architecture. Having suffered 3 years I cut my losses and quit during my Year 3 dissertation.... Winner.

In a world of limbo, I tried Football Refereeing, Bar work and... *cough* Modelling *cough* before I landed my feet in the world of advertising sales. I found myself as a bit of a salesman, and moved on to what would be more familiar to you guys.. 'Creativepool' as one of their Account Managers.

It is here that I found you guys, One Minute Briefs and become absolutely besotted. Having spent roughly 6 years without touching the creative part of my brain, this was just what I needed. Seeing amazing advertising work from creatives around the country, as well as getting some great feedback (and some wins myself) on my own work. This is a huge part and reason as to why I'm taking 'My next step....'.

Now's the time I go into an agency. Advertising preferably. Do I try my trade in Account Management? Business Development? Or is there a slim chance that I have what it takes to be a Creative? Is it even possible...

Help me OMBles, and I will forever be in your debt.

A brief we previously ran in 2012 has shown us just how far OMB has come in a short space of time. The quality of ideas now is superb and the ideas vary. Great day for OMB with lots of ideas coming through.

Therefore, we have a few winners today. All deserved in their own way!

Attention OMBLES. The OMB event has now been confirmed.

The event will be held at 2022NQ.
20 Dale St, Manchester, M1 1EZ

The timings are 7pm until 11pm but the venue is open until 3am so we won't be stopping at 11. Especially after some JagerbOMBs!! Plus we can head on somewhere else after to see @dognbonesjones dance moves!

The date is Friday 28th February.

So, now we need to get the word out...and what better way than to have it as today's Friday fun brief. This way we can get all of your ideas on it so we are keeping the brief open. Best one wins a prize on the night.

The name of the event is still up for grabs. First thoughts are OMB LIVE. Ideas welcome!

Myself and James were discussing sex changes early this morning and thought it would make a great subject for a One Minute Brief!

Over 100 responses yet again. The interactions on our Twitter these days are crazy. Credit to you all for making it such a great feed.
