Today's brief was for a new film that claims to not use any CGI effects and is about fast cars. Something myself and James both love!
Lots of great ideas as ever...but the following winners really capture the spirit of the film in a simple way.
As you will notice with most of the winners...simplicity is key.
@RichBayley80 with '130 Minutes, No brakes' Great link to the film and speed.
@Boc_Atm with a simple reel/wheel visual.
@leaworthington with a nice use of media space using buffering videos.
@StewAllan is on form with this new take on 3d glasses. Great image.
@matthew__wyatt and @SaniaaSan with brilliant use of cinema chairs. Could be great ambient ideas too.
@ideafuelcreativ with 'First Meth, Now Speed' Hilarious ad and a good link to pull fans of Breaking Bad into the cinema.
Great ideas all round!

Today was #NoSmokingDay and we thought that would make a great brief. And it really did with 120 entries!! Brilliant stuff that was recognised by various supporting Twitter feeds.
Great to raise awareness to another good cause.
Think some of the entries advertised Quit Smoking rather than the day itself but we feel that these winners got the brief perfectly.
@writeygentleman with 'puff, puff, pass' Nice visual.
@PWCFreelance with 'Take a Fag Break' Nice reversal of the normal saying.
@willbutterworth with 'the first day of the rest of your life' an epic line.
@boc_atm and @thinkbig_ideas with the nice 2 fingers visuals.
@sheisapenguin with 'quitting heals' Nice use of facts and media space.
@matthew__wyatt with 'Die Another Day' Very strong line and references.
@lpbiesty with a nice demolition stunt idea.
@stewallan with a hard hitting visual of lungs on holiday. Fun yet serious.
@boc_atm with a Nike sponsorship style ad.
Thanks to everybody.

Another great day for OMB in which we can all help our fellow OMBLE with ideas that he can use to promote the exhibition of his great work.
Each winner receives a copy of his artwork. Please let us know which of the sketches you like at interest@bankofcreativity.co.uk
Also you get a free ticket to the exhibition if you fancy a nice trip to Gibraltar. I know I do!
Karl has decided on two winners and would like to combine the 2 in some way as he likes the concept of the first and the name/line in the second.
Today's winners are:
@owenjevans with 'Red, White and True'
@bencatley with 'Gibraltarianism'
Thanks on behalf of ourselves and Karl for the fantastic ideas.
If anyone has any suggestions for briefs or ideas on how we could collaborate with you/yours or someone else's business then make sure you e-mail us and we can work something out. And Pleeeeeease put your Twitter names in the corner of your ad/image when you submit. Thanks.

Hopefully everyone has recovered from their Pancakes and Nutella hangovers.
We had another successful collaboration with the Fresh Awards to advertise Pancake Day and we will be working together again soon.
@IainThorley was the winner with an ambient idea as a reminder of the day using pancake shaped ads.
Ad Pad on it's way to you Iain and into the draw for the free Fresh Award entries! Great stuff.

One Minute Brief of the Day: Advertise Karl Ullger's Art Exhibition
One Minute Brief of the Day:
Today's brief is a great collaboration with our Gibraltar OMBLE Karl Ullger. He produced a brilliant video that we played at #OMBLive and, in return, it's our chance to give something back to a very talented artist. Please see brief and info below.
The brief:
To create an ad with a catchy title/ caption for the art exhibition by Karl J Ullger. The name of the exhibition is to have some sort of connection with Gibraltar.
The art exhibition is
about Gibraltar visually and politically. It will feature artworks done in a
very old technique called Pyrography (Wood burning). Some Installation art
pieces are also going to feature.
The OMBLE winner will
have their title/ caption feature on all posters, banners and invitations for the
exhibition as well as have a free invite to the actual night (flights NOT
included). The winning OMBLE will also be mentioned in a feature double spread
article in April, in a local magazine. The prizes don’t end there! They will also get the opportunity to
select 1 framed sketch from the ‘2012 series’ which will be sent to them as part of
their prize.

One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Campaign against phone use whilst driving
Overwhelmed by the brilliant response to today's brief. A serious one to start the week off which we hope will make you all think twice about using your phone whilst driving.
Some of the ideas on show are award winning. The standard is excellent at the moment.
We have lots of great winners today which you can see below in no particular order:
@BOC_ATM with 'you don't need to put dinner on tonight' I changed James' name to Jane to make this ad and we had to put kisses to each other on texts. Totes Awks. My mum demanded that I gave this ad the win as it was her fave.
@daniel_sharp_uk with the smashed screen visual. Hard hitting image.
@themadmancs with 'slide to unlock' Nice visual and meaning.
@lpbiesty with a Siri device that shuts your phone off whilst driving. This should happen.
@garethbutters with 'predictive text' Serious imagery using text language. Very impactful.
@tonysimmons with 'you've been tagged in a photo' Another shocking image and clever idea.
@little_scamp85 with a brilliant Instagram selfie timeline concept.
@StewAllan with an amazing hybrid image of an iPhone/gravestone.
Thanks to everyone who got involved and remember...Don't use your phone and drive.

A very emotional response to pay tribute to one of our favourite OMBLES who passed away.
Mia always produced great work and really captured what OMB is about.
We know Dannielle loved all of the ideas and we'd like to thank everyone who got involved. It was sad but also a very positive experience.
The winners of the brief each had a nice idea that worked really well.
@SkyNewsMan - in dog we trust. It captures the essence of owning a dog and what it means
@ChrisMillar89 - Paws and Remember - Nice use of the One Minute Silence relating to OMB.
@chrisod1993 - Dans best Friend - Lovely piece of copy.
Thanks on behalf of ourselves and Dannielle.
R.I.P. Mia xxx
One Minute Brief WINNERS: Advertise MSN Messenger
One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Bring back MSN Messenger
We were discussing social media and how it went backwards. Facebook is nowhere near as good as MSN was. On MSN there was already a Facebook Chat...you could Skype...you could share music and images...emoticons. Nudge instead of Poke.
The brief was taken on really well by everyone and here are the results.
The overall winner is @Joe_from_CP with this brilliant visual turning the MSN icons on their head to resemble trophies.
Other winners are:
@worldofolly with 'nudging' is more socially acceptable. Nice truth and a fun idea.
@JustJoel_ with a cheeky idea using Melinda Messenger. She would be perfect to front a campaign to bring it back as it is another Messenger we all remember from that era!
Thanks for everyone's entries. Great stuff.

We were thinking of a brief to set one day at work and then James suddenly got his nuts out so this is the one we set and we had a great response!
Was a fun brief with lots of silly ideas. We love silly. Some more serious ones too. Good variety which you can see in the winners below.
@carthx with 'I can't believe it's nut butter' Great play on words.
@dognbonesjones with a nice product/price ad.
@owenjevans keeps up his fine run of form with a nice Tesco style copy ad 'no shelling or shelling out'
Quality stuff!

Must have been feeling hungry when we set this brief. Had lots of good ideas that really gave a good insight into what we all think of the good old English Breakfast.
Here are the winners as follows. Each of you wins a hash brown and a sausage from Clancy Lad.
@alvo_muses with 'The Recovery Position' Simple but effective.
@lpbiesty with a very unpretentious ad! Does away with any snobby stuff and gets straight to the point.
@ludoyouknow using the plate as a tablet. Brilliant visual.
@TrevorAKP with 'Words everyone understands' Really nice language based idea.
@NealeCP with the very simple happy visual that can't fail to make you smile.
@sarahlong_xx with 'How do you like your eggs in the morning?' Great play on a famous line.
Cheers everybody. I'm off to burn some bangers.
