Brilliant day of One Minute Briefs. It has been very difficult to choose winners due to the nature of the brief but we feel that the following selection deserved a win today.
One thing we did notice is that we had a lot of entries without names on. This makes it very difficult to judge. Make sure you include your Twitter name on the corner of your ads.
Not only does it help us to choose winners, sometimes the ads go viral and if your name isn't there you can't take the credit.

The MPA’s mission is to inspire Manchester’s creative and media industry. We champion collaboration amongst businesses within our region and we celebrate innovation. So it’s no surprise that these values of Collaboration and Innovation are at the heart of the judging criteria for our awards. Inspiration is the key factor that drives MPA’s entire programme of activity so these Awards are designed to Inspire and for you to demonstrate Inspiration in your thinking and doing.
From creative agencies, to photographers, digital trailblazers, PR folk, freelancers, media owners TV and Radio production companies... this is an awards event like no other. It will be judged by high profile, highly respected industry luminaries.
Its purpose is to deliver an inspirational programme of activity never before seen in Manchester for our Industry, part exhibition, part awards night; it will bring our creative community together showcasing the best of the year’s work and recognising the achievements and upcoming talent.

We had considered doing our own April Fools pranks but we're not creative enough ;) so we asked the OMBLES to create April Fools ads and the results were quality with loads of fun ideas. Really impressed with the wide range of ideas.

After slaving over my car for hours only to see the Sahara land on it an hour later, we set the brief to advertise car washes and there were some immaculate results.
