We are delighted to collaborate on a great cause with @comicsanscancer today after seeing their great idea we got in touch with them as we thought it would be great to get the OMBLES involved.

All info and links are below with some great prizes and the knowledge that you can help make a difference.

Comic Sans for Cancer
Curated by Chris Flack, Renee Quigley & Jenny Theolin

We are using Comic Sans to take on cancer.
In its short history no other font has caused as much division as Comic Sans; not only does it divide opinions, but it is also a font that everyone seems to have a view on. So extreme are these views that websites have even been set up to have the font banned from use! We want to harness the energy and opinions that surround Comic Sans and show that it can have a positive effect on society. So why not put this divisive font to good use and use its 20th anniversary to raise money for cancer research.

Designers are being asked to represent what Comic Sans means to them. Do they love it or hate it? What would the world be like without the font we all love to hate? Should we wish it a happy birthday? The results will be showcased in a curated exhibition which aims to challenge the way we look at this divisive font.

One Minute Brief WINNERS:
Advertise the Truth

An interesting and very different brief today. The subject of truth.
A massive amount of entries were sent to us and an amazing variety of ideas.
We're receiving a lot of ads with no Twitter names in the corner though. Please remember to include this to make our lives easier when choosing winners and to be able to get credit for your ideas.

The winners are:

@saraundo_ with 'the key to life' Big idea here.

@kat_loveday with 'Truth or Dare' Love the style of this scamp and it is so simple that it makes you think about the question.

@matthew__wyatt with 'Truth' sleeping tablets. Love how it's been turned into a product to show the benefit.

@chrisod1993 with 'This is an advert' Simple and eyecatching because it is so blunt.

@aga_nat with 'you won't have to remember what you have said' Nice line and truth about truth!

@creativebrummie with some truthful advertising. Nice use of real imagery. Would make a good campaign,

@tobyandnaomi with a nice campaign using images of people who need to know the truth.

@immortal_ads with a nice piece that tells the truth about not being able to think of anything on the page but writing it anyway. This proves that entering whatever is in your head is worth doing!

@supercoolkp with 'better than pork pies' It must be good then! Nice humorous thought.

@shireendew with 'I didn't do nothing' Nice double negative.

Great stuff everyone!

One Minute Brief WINNER:
Campaign to Make Cycling Sexy with @DoTheGreenThing

Yesterday was a brilliantly successful collaboration between OMB and our friends at @DoTheGreenThing @Pentagram and @EasyArtUK.

Impressed with the fantastic level of ideas and show and the quantity that came through was amazing. Therefore, it was very difficult to choose from and we have lots of very close runners-up.

THE PRIZE
The winner gets to spend a day in Pentagram’s studio in West London to make their one minute ad into a poster, which will be published by Do The Green Thing. They also win some cycling prints, courtesy of EasyArt, and some great books on branding and design, courtesy of Pentagram.

The overall winner to get these prizes is @PaperJamCreate who has entered lots of fantastic ideas lately and his efforts have been rewarded here. These landscape/body images make you do a double take and will make fantastic posters. E-mail us for your prize.

@owenjevans nearly in the prizes again with 'Ding Dong' A lovely simple thought.

@seeligo with a nice idea based an a dating site. Brilliant.

@sharpstuffbits with these ads focussed on the cyclists themselves. Brilliant ads and also the chain/sweat visual. Lovely style to it.

@little_scamp85 with 'I'm too sexy for my car' and 'grips and chains excite me' Great lines.

@chellybro with 'get your leg over' Funny line and nice visual.

@kat_loveday with 'Nice rack' Cheeky line done in a tasteful stylish way.

@katesteeth with this fantastic visual and logo 'Wonderbars'. Always thinking differently.

@dognbonesjones with the lovely saddle visual. Can you guess what it represents?

@iainthorley with 'SEXCY' Could be a brilliant campaign branding idea.

@alanbingle with 'batteries not included. Could work with lots of different saddles as a campaign set.

@markemoon with 'backy' bit naughty. This could even work by taking the bike out of the shot completely.

@boc_atm with 'Fancy a threesome'? Eye-catching cheeky line.

@matthew__wyatt with 'Love Handles' Really nice thought and CTA.

@rulavam with 'view like this' Could be really eye-catching if well shot.

Well done everybody!! Everyone remember to include your twitter names in the corner of your ads next time though! ;)
