Create a film to promote the Philips Steamer during a nostalgic getaway with Ryan Thomas and Lucy Meck

THE IDEA:

Where’s better than Blackpool for a surprise, steamy getaway? Smoking Gun tasked us with bringing to life their nostalgic take on a weekend break as Ryan treated Lucy to a trip she will never forget. At least the clothes they were wearing looked the part as the seagulls stole their chips.

We delivered a script that enticed you in with Ryan’s promise of a steamy getaway…before abruptly landing in Blackpool, where we would document their trip, from the arcades, to the pier, to a horse and carriage. And even a glamourous dance in front of the Eiffel (ahem) Blackpool Tower.
