This is your chance to have your work shared within a huge campaign for a great cause.
About the campaign:
NHS STAFF WHO BEAT BIEBER ARE BACK WITH BAND AID NHS
Dr Katie Rogerson, 33, and fellow NHS worker Joe Blunden, 34, have joined NHS colleagues to create a Band Aid-style single to celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS, and they hope to top the charts following the track’s release today. The brilliant music video to accompany the track was created by The Gate Films.
Against all the odds, they have pulled together an all-star cast for the song, including Seal, Beverley Knight, Guy Garvey, Alexandra Burke and UB40. Altogether, the line-up have close to 150 top ten hits between then, and more than 30 number ones. It also features the NHS Choir of doctors and nurses that got to top spot in 2015.
In addition, they have attracted legendary producer Timbaland, who is working with Grammy nominated Brit Jon Cohen to deliver what is sure to be a memorable rendition of the Beatles classic With A Little Help From My Friends. This special NHS version is also supported by Sir Paul McCartney, after the pair wrote him a heartfelt letter.
Dr Katie said of the feat: “Joe and I wanted to think of a way to include everyone who is touched by the NHS in a huge celebration. What better way than a Band Aid-style song and with a national singalong. This is our way to nod to the past seven decades of love, care and the best of British, standing hand in hand with 1.3 million fantastic staff to say ‘happy birthday NHS’.”
Joe added: “I work with NHS staff all over the country and see how hard they work to deliver care for patients. We want this track and singalong to show them just how appreciated they are, and we’re delighted that so many big stars have taken the time to contribute. We really hope everyone goes out and buys it today, and that we have a huge number one to celebrate our country’s greatest institution.”
All proceeds from the single will go to NHS Charities Together, a group of more than 100 NHS charities that provide invaluable funds to improve the experience of patients.
Let's do this and help get the NHS to Number 1...again!!!
One Minute Brief of the Day: Show your support for @NHSVoices with selfies, sketches and designs to feature on the #NHSVoices TVs.

About the problem:
Research by independent researchers found that the suicide rate among UK students had risen by 56 per cent in the 10 years between 2007 and 2016, from from 6.6 to 10.3 per 100,000 people.
The student suicide rate in 2016 was 9 per cent higher than in 2015 and 25 per cent higher than 2012, when it was 8.3.
ONS figures show that the average suicide rate among the general population of 15-19 year olds was 5.9, while the rate for 20-24 year-olds was 10.4.
"This is the first time we can conclusively say that as far as suicide is concerned, there is a real problem in higher education.”
Sir Anthony Seldon, vice-chancellor of the University of Buckingham and a campaigner on student well-being, told the BBC: "Student suicide rates and emotional distress levels could be reduced at university if we acted differently.
"More support in transitions, better tutoring and early warning, more peer to peer support, an enhanced sense of belonging, would all enhance wellbeing and reduce risk.
"We are obsessed by reactive policy once students hit the bottom of the waterfall; we need to be putting preventative policies in place to prevent them ever tipping over the edge."
Good luck with today's brief and we hope you can help us spread a very important message across the world with today's brief. Thank you.
One Minute Brief of the Day: Advertise @VitaminTalent with the line “Don’t Hire A Robot”
Advertise @VitaminTalent with the line “Don’t Hire A Robot”
Today we've got a great brief and prize with our friends at Vitamin T in London. We're looking for some fun ideas that are based around the idea of not hiring a robot, but being able to get a close match and fit with your agency that matches your company's ethos and personality. Looking forward to what the OMBLES come up with for this!!
Prizes:
● £100 in amazon vouchers to the winner and some Vitamin T robots too!!
About
Vitamin T is a global recruitment agency. We are a division of Aquent, created to exclusively meet the unique needs of creative agencies, start-ups and mid-sized companies. We are specialists in marketing, creative and digital roles, placing both freelance and permanent staff. We go above and beyond to ensure a perfect match by making human connections with both talent and clients. We offer thorough assessments with our ‘Independent Assessments’ for specialist disciplines, meaning we can match our talent much more accurately so you can guarantee you won’t be hiring a robot.
We’re definitely not your typical recruitment agency, we truly believe in creativity and go out of our way to support both clients and talent through our speaker events, our free Gymnasium courses, or rewarding creatives through our Talent Awards.
Why don’t we want to hire robots?
A robot is programmed to do a task, but nothing outside that. It can’t use it’s brain to solve problems or do any of the other things humans are great at (communication, team work, personal relationships, empathy, curiosity, creativity). Which is why we believe it’s important to match more than just skills when hiring for a role.
Ad Goals
● We often use robots in our advertising, this is an opportunity to explore the theme of human interaction vs robots.
● We want an advert that stands out in a competitive market
● Feature our Vitamin T branding
Tone
● We are looking for something fun or quirky
● Robot can be any style, we have used retro, cartoon, chocolate, Lego and paper robots previously
● Targeting UK audience

Help us to grant more life-changing wishes this World Wish Day by sponsoring a wish.
About World Wish Day
April 29 is World Wish Day®, the anniversary of the wish that inspired the founding of Make-A-Wish and the wish-granting movement. It is a worldwide awareness day of gratitude to thank donors, volunteers, medical professionals, sponsors, wish children and families.
It is a day where we can highlight all the unique and wonderful wishes we grant – from having a pirate party on a real ship to becoming a teacher for the day, children have the most imaginative wishes.
We’re asking people to get involved and help us to grant even more life-changing wishes to seriously ill children this World Wish Day by sponsoring a wish.
About Make-A-Wish UK
Make-A-Wish UK is a children’s wishgranting charity which grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.
In 1980, 7-year-old Chris Greicius inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish. Chris was diagnosed with leukaemia and wished to be a Policeman. Thanks to his mother, her friends and a group of police officers – his wish was made a life-changing reality.
In 1986, Make-A-Wish was founded in the UK – 31 years later we’ve helped transform the lives of more than 12,000 seriously ill children by granting their One True Wish.
Whether it's being a superhero for a day, to operating a lift by pressing buttons all day long or meeting their celebrity hero; our wishes are varied, personal and life-changing. We go above and beyond to grant amazing wishes to very amazing children; their One True Wish made a reality at a time when they need it most.
Because a child's life shouldn't be about illness, hospitals and diagnosis - it should be about wonder, joy and hope.
